The all-Russian forum “Small and Medium-sized Business – the base of social and economic development in Russia in the XXI century” will take place in Moscow on May 26, 2008. The forum is dated to a new professional holiday - the Russian Entrepreneurship’s Day.On May 26, 2008 the all-Russian forum “Small and Medium-sized Business – the base of social and economic development in Russia in the XXI century” will take place in Moscow. The Forum is dated to the Russian Entrepreneurship’s Day, a new professional holiday, which will be first celebrated in 2008. The corresponding decree (№1381) was signed by the Russian President on October 18, 2007.
The forum’s objectives are summing up the results and determining forward-looking courses in order to create optimal conditions for further development of small and medium-sized business, which is the key factor of economic growth in the regions, compatibility increase and social stability in Russia of the XXI century.
The main organizers of the forum are the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council FC RF, the All-Russian Non-governmental Organization of Small and Medium-sized Business “OPORA RUSSIA”.
The event is supported by the Moscow government, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), and the All-Russian public organization “Business Russia”.
Within the framework of the forum the federal trade exhibition “The Days of Small and Medium-sized Business in Russia 2008” will be held at the all-Russian exhibition center in Moscow on May 27-30, 2008.
